HAWAII WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL WHO CONTRIBUTE THEIR TIME

Annual
10K/5K Race to be held at Kaneohe on August 8, 2004.
Thousands of Hawaii-based service personnel currently
are deployed in the Global War on Terrorism, making this
year’s Outrigger/USO Hawaii 10K-5K run at Marine Corps
Base, Hawaii in Kaneohe a special remembrance event to
honor American men and women now in harm’s way.
This will be the sixth annual race in the organization's
"Base Race" series.
Outrigger Hotels & Resorts and Ohana Hotels of Hawaii
are continuing their
sponsorship of the race, as they have for all six races
in the series.
All monies raised by the race support the operation of
USO Hawaii for programs to enhance the morale and
quality of life of America’s service members and their
families.

Mid-Pacific Roadrunners Club’s web site (mprrc.com), in
numerous running stores and at either of USO Hawaii's

USO
services have been available to America's Armed Forces
almost without interruption up to the present time. For
example, during the Vietnam Conflict, the USO was there
for those returning to Hawaii for R&R, as well as for
the large military community stationed here.
